Benidorm promotes the #HoyNoCocino initiative to bring together the offer of hospitality with home delivery or 'take away'
Benidorm City Council, through Tourism department, and Visit Benidorm Foundation, have promoted the #HoyNoCocino initiative with the aim of bringing together and publicizing the city's hotel and restaurant offer with food service at home or 'take away'. The mayor, Toni Pérez, has pointed out that “before the closure of the hotel business decreed by the Generalitat Valenciana, we want to contribute to give diffusion and visibility to the establishments that are going to maintain their activity by offering food service at home or local collection, since in many cases these businesses did not have this service before ”.
The mayor and President of Visit Benidorm has invited the city's establishments to join this initiative, which will be disseminated through the Foundation's Facebook and Instagram accounts and which, in the coming days, will also be staying at the City Council website: www.benidorm.org.
Toni Pérez has stressed that “we understand it necessary to support the bars, restaurants and cafes of Benidorm that are currently making a titanic effort to keep their businesses active and with them the employment they generate, especially when they have not yet begun to materialize. aid committed from the autonomous government to a sector so punished by the current situation as that of the hospitality industry ”. "The message is clear: despite the restrictions, you can continue to enjoy Benidorm's gastronomy at home," he added.
Establishments that want to join #HoyNoCocino can communicate it by email info@visitbenidorm.es or by tagging Visit Benidorm in their social media posts. The first establishments can already be consulted in the Visit Benidorm stories on Facebook and Instagram; and in the coming days on the websites of the City Council and the Foundation.
