Benidorm pays tribute to 'La Ruta' again on June 18 at Julio Iglesias auditorium
Julio Iglesias auditorium in Parque de l'Aigüera will be the stage on June 18 for the second edition of 'Tribute to La Ruta', which was held for the first time in 2019 with great public success but was suspended the following years as a result of the health situation resulting from the pandemic.
The Councilor for Festivals and Events, Jesús Carrobles, presented the event at a press conference this morning, accompanied by Víctor Pérez, representative of the organizing company, and José Vicente Fuster, president of the Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals.
Carrobles has highlighted that the tribute to 'La Ruta' is "the starting signal for Benidorm's musical summer", while Pérez has had an impact on the "great campaign carried out throughout the Valencian Community so that audiences come from all over the region".
There will be more than 120 people who will make this event possible, in which Benidorm clubs and the 'mayorales' of the Festes Majors Patronals collaborate "who will take care of the bars and the gastronomy".
The organizers have revealed that those who bought their tickets when this event was announced before the pandemic will receive a CD with original 'La Ruta' songs as a gift. A gift will also be given to the first 500 people who enter the venue, whose doors will open at 4:00 p.m.
In total there will be 15 performances by as many different artists. The music will start at 5:00 p.m. and end around 1:00 a.m. "to cause as little inconvenience as possible." The organization hopes to bring together some 2,000 people in the auditorium, for a tribute whose tickets have already been on sale for days.
In this sense, they have clarified that the acquisition of seats can be made at the price of 25 euros at the office of the Comissió de Les Festes Majors Patronals and on the official website of the event: www.90shomenajealaruta.com
"We have put a lot of effort into not disturbing the neighbours and, in fact, for this summer the concerts and performances in the Julio Iglesias auditorium have been reduced and they have been increased in the Guillermo Amor" indicated the councilman, who highlighted "the I work to avoid inconveniences and that these acts only have an impact on the good of the local economy and that people have a good time”.
As for the poster of this 'Tribute to La Ruta', the performances of Danae, Jerry Daley, New Limit and Two Power, as well as other local DJs and the main venues of the Valencian Community, stand out.
