Benidorm joins one more year to San Fermín festivities with the traditional 'Chupinazo'
One more year Benidorm has joined the festivities of San Fermin with the celebration of the traditional 'Chupinazo', which marks the beginning of the great days of Pamplona. At noon, the first deputy mayor, Ana Pellicer, was in charge of lighting the first wick of the 'Chupinazo', organized by the group El Tamboril, with the collaboration of Benidorm City Council. An act that has counted with the presence, among others, of the mayor, Toni Pérez; of the councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles; several members of the municipal corporation; and the Queens of the Festes Majors Patronals, Marina Carrillo and Paula Mayor, accompanied by the presidents of the Comissió and de l'Associació de Penyes, Roberto Carretero and Coly Pérez.
After the firing of rockets and the 'gora' to San Fermín, the Navarrese community living in Benidorm, neighbors and tourists have celebrated the beginning of Pamplona festivities with traditional songs and dances.
