The new street in Colombia will improve mobility and 80 new parking spaces will be created
Benidorm gets a new road that links Vía Parque with Paseo de Poniente
The mayor of Benidorm, together with the councilors of Urbanism and Works, Lourdes Caselles and José Ramón González de Zárate, and municipal technicians and the construction companies that urbanize the area, have toured the new Colombia street that links Avenida del Alcalde Vicente Pérez Devesa with Paseo de Poniente.
The cost of the works has been fully covered by the companies that build the residential complexes, including the Intempo building that will shortly receive its new tenants.
It is a road that "will greatly improve not only the mobility of road traffic," said Toni Pérez, but also "the pedestrian and cyclist, connecting this network" so important that it has a direct connection with Villajoyosa avenue and with the Poniente beach in Benidorm ”.
The first mayor has also announced the entry into service of a new 80-space parking area, at the height of Avenida Presidente Adolfo Suárez, "where a significant number of residential and IES Mediterrània are concentrated" and the connections "with the new plot of Plan 2/1 of Poniente ”.
It is a great effort by the City Council and the urban development companies that create services for citizens, for the residents of Benidorm. Infrastructures that, Toni Pérez recalled, were already foreseen in the General Plan of the year 90 and that "thirty years later they are taking shape and making themselves available to this great city that is Benidorm".
