Benidorm Film Office participates in the EINA Film Commission assembly during San Sebastián Film Festival
Benidorm Film Office has participated in the Annual Assembly of the Spain Film Commission held in San Sebastián within the framework of the 70th edition of the city's film festival, one of the three most important events on the national scene. The Benidorm filming office, together with the Valencia Film Office and the recently incorporated Alicante Film Office, attended the Assembly yesterday on behalf of the Valencian Community, one of the most attractive regions for the audiovisual industry.
During the Assembly, the entry of new members was approved, reaching 36 partners; and the monographic supplement was presented that Variety magazine, the most influential publication in the audiovisual sector worldwide, has dedicated to the work of the Spain Film Commission in promoting filming in Spain.
The head of the Benidorm Film Office, Rosa Llorca, has taken advantage of the San Sebastian appointment to hold various work meetings at the Industry Club with projects interested in shooting in the city.
Llorca highlighted “the importance of the network of film offices and film commissions at a national level, which is taking advantage of the boost that the 'Spain, Europe's Audiovisual Hub' Plan is giving to the industry, and also promoting our country as a pole of attraction of great productions. Likewise, she has transferred that "after the summer, the audiovisual activity is reactivated with intensity in Benidorm", and has advanced that "in the coming weeks the filming of some projects will begin, while we continue working to finalize some others".
