The final gala of the Benidorm Fest 2025 was a new and resounding success last night. It became the most-watched television programme of the day with a 17.1% share and 1,938,000 viewers, almost a million more than the second programme. The final of the Benidorm Fest reached 4.9 million viewers during the television broadcast of the gala.

A new success was also recorded on social networks, becoming a global trending topic once again. A gala on the social network X (formerly Twitter) was followed from 84 countries. Likewise, 6.2 million plays of the songs of the eight finalist artists were reached on the Spotify and YouTube platforms. The interest aroused is also evident. Google registered more than 50 million searches during the gala and there were more than 191,000 mentions on X during the final.

As for the 1.9 million viewers on RTVE and the 17.1% share, this is half a point more than last year and 2.4% more than in the 2023 final. With the bonus that last night audience peaks of up to 24.1% share were reached. Once the gala was over, the post-show also garnered high ratings, totalling 11.8% of the share and almost 800,000 viewers (797,000).

According to social networks, Benidorm Fest final was followed in 84 countries, although Spain achieved the majority of mentions with 68.89% of the total. In Colombia, for example, there was also a significant following with 17.83% of the mentions during the celebration. Mentions on this social network came from 53.6% of men and 46.4% of women. There were also 5,197 posts on TikTok.

Spotify plays of the eight finalist artists 4.5 million, with Melody taking first place with 1.5 million, followed by LaChispa with one million and JKabello with 548,000. As for YouTube plays, Melody also takes first place among the finalist artists with 752,000. She is followed by LaChispa with 360,000 and Daniela Blasco with 259,000. The winner of the contest took first place in the televote and third in the jury's preferences. Daniela Blasco, for her part, was second in both the televote and the jury and JKabello closed the podium being the jury's favourite, but third in the televote.

In this sense, almost 39% of the public vote was for Melody, compared to 18% for Daniela Blasco and 13% for JKabello. 17,422 phone calls were received, and 223,094 votes were registered. In the app, the television rose to 84,000 and 88,000 in the first and second semi-finals, respectively.

This afternoon, the winner of the Benidorm Fest 2025 offered her first press conference outside the festival grounds and expressed her "gratitude for the support and affection received." After taking the relevant photographs in the Plaza del Castell, she revealed that last Wednesday she had to go to the hospital at night "due to chest pain that prevented me from breathing properly." “I didn't say anything so as not to worry anyone because I was going to be on stage no matter what. I'm prepared to sing even with pneumonia because I've done it” she said.

Melody stressed that “it's been months of hard work” in which she has combined her artistic life with being a mother “But I have a wonderful family who is with him. Sometimes you have to juggle, but like all mothers do. Within the chaos, it's not so much. But it does require a mental effort to combine it”.

Finally, María Eizaguirre, director of Communication and Participation at RTVE, has highlighted “the work and perseverance of the workers to have a contest that is respected and known throughout Europe.” She added that “with only four years, we are still young” and that “there is an exciting path ahead with the enthusiasm and drive that the Benidorm City Council and the Generalitat Valenciana put into it.”
