The JGL determines September 30 as the deadline to request this aid, financed with a grant from the Provincial Council
Benidorm extends the deadline to request aid of up to 1,000 euros to minimize the effects of the economic crisis and extends sections
Benidorm City Council extends the deadline to apply for new aid of up to 1,000 euros aimed at SMEs, micro-SMEs and self-employed entrepreneurs to minimize the economic impact of Covid19 on the city's economic infrastructure, also expanding the sections that can access this aid. The Local Government Board (JGL) has decided this morning this deadline extension to "encourage the maximum number of freelancers and companies to benefit from this line of aid aimed at minimizing the effects of the economic crisis derived from the pandemic", pointed out with the councillor for Local Development, Mónica Gómez.
The new deadline extends from today to next Friday, September 30.
This line is financed entirely through a subsidy of 292,491 euros that Benidorm City Council has obtained from the Provincial Council of Alicante. The objective of the Government Team is "to help improve the situation that these sectors have had to go through during the pandemic and that is complicated by the current economic reality." Gómez explained that “as in other grants with similar characteristics, applications must be submitted online on the website of Benidorm City Council, through the link https://sede.benidorm.org/catalogo-de-servicios/DIPCOV /.
Among the requirements is that the average monthly billing of the months for which the aid is to be requested -which must be between July 1, 2021, and June 30, 2022- has been equal to or less than the billed average in the same months of 2019.
The councillor Mónica Gómez has encouraged companies and freelancers from all the extended sectors, together with those previously called, to "take advantage of this extension of the term and take advantage of this extraordinary aid that is added to the numerous lines and calls promoted by the City Council of Benidorm to help the local productive fabric”, focusing on new sectors of commerce, real estate and travel agencies.
