Line 3 of the urban bus has a stop 300 meters away
Benidorm enables a taxi rank at Palau d'Esports to facilitate access to the mass vaccination center
Benidorm City Council, in collaboration with Radio Taxi, has set up a taxi rank at Palau d'Esports l'Illa to “facilitate access by public transport to the mass vaccination center against Covid-19 installed in the 'carrer de pilota '”, as reported today by the Councilor for Health, Mónica Gómez.
Gómez explained that “with the start-up of this stop, which will operate at the times in which vaccination shifts are scheduled, we give more facilities to people who do not have their own vehicle to travel to Palau d'Esports facilities or who prefer to use public transport, since upon departure they will have this transport available without waiting ”.
The head of Health has indicated that "in recent days it has been found that there are many people who choose to use the taxi to go to the vaccination and hence it has been considered appropriate to install this stop, which has been enabled this morning ”.
In addition to this taxi rank, users also have at their disposal the urban bus service line 3 that stops near Palau d'Esports, approximately 300 meters away, at the height of the Children's Park of Traffic. Line 3 departs from La Cala and later runs through Vía Parque, Jaime I, Ruzafa, and Avenida Mediterráneo and Europa until it reaches Salt de l’Aigua school complex.
