Hundreds of people have participated today in San Isidro Pilgrimage, which every year 'walks' the tradition of the garden on Levante beach. Dozens of cars and tractors have travelled along the image of the patron of farmers touring Alcoy and Madrid Avenues, to continue later by Severo Ochoa and Camí Vell de l'Albir to reach the Hermitage of Sanç.
In the Pilgrimage, organized by the Commission of San Isidro, the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez; the councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles: members of the municipal corporation; the queens of the Festes Majors Patronals, Marina Carrillo and Paula Mayor, with their courts of honor; the president of the Comissió, Roberto Carretero; the president of the Associació de Penyes, Coli Pérez have participated; as well as other festive groups linked to this festivity.
Once in the Hermitage, the typical auction of botijos and raffle of the donkey has been celebrated.
