With the support of Benidorm City Council's Department of Culture, directed by Jaime Jesús Pérez, the Benidorm Cultural Centre auditorium will host a performance of "Champions 2 in the Theatre. If Lorca could see this" next Sunday, September 7th, at 7:00 PM.
This is a fun and moving comedy that combines humour, social criticism, and nods to Spanish literature by imagining how the poet Federico García Lorca would react to our current society. The plot follows a group of endearing characters who, through absurd and moving situations, invite us to reflect on culture, inclusion, and friendship.
Directed by Juan Manuel Montilla, El Langui, who also stars in the play, the cast includes Alberto Nieto, Emilio Gavira, Luis Mottola, Claudia Fesser, and Gloria Ramos, performers of proven versatility and charisma who can go from laughter to tenderness in a matter of seconds, creating a special connection with the audience.
