Benidorm awards the prizes to school children of the IX Christmas Cards School Contest

The Department of Education and Culture have held this Tuesday December 12 the awards ceremony of the Ninth Christmas Cards Contest in the auditorium of the City Council, an act chaired by the mayor and Councilor for Education, Toni Pérez, the councillor of Culture, Ana Pellicer, and in which have assisted many councilors of the municipal corporation representing all the political groups of the consistory to participate in the delivery of prizes in the different categories.

In the contest students of second cycle of Infantile and Primary Education of practically all of the schools of Benidorm have participated. The objective of the contest is to promote values ​​such as coexistence, participation and creation and artistic expression among schoolchildren in the city. Toni Pérez has put in value "the effort and enthusiasm that all school children have put in, both those who have obtained their reward and those who have not," and he recalled that the councilors of the corporation will congratulate these festivitites with these Christmas cards, which they are already exhibited in the City Council.

Awarded for cycles

In the category of Early Childhood Education the first prize went to Hugo González Mellinas (3 years) of the CP Ausiàs March, the second prize to Nayra Morell Núñez (4 years) of the CP Miguel Hernández, and the third prize to the child Tomás Ruiz Brau (5 years) of the CI Lope de Vega. In addition there were several accésits for Luis González Sánchez (5 years) of CP Els Tolls, Lucas Sabau Martinho (5 years) of CP Serra Gelada, Noel Moreno López (5 years) of CP El Murtal and finally Joaquín Vázquez Martorell (5 years) of Our Lady of Sorrows.

In the 1st and 2nd category of Primary Education the first prize was for the girl Silvia Díaz Berenguer of 2nd of C.I. Lope de Vega, second prize for Lucía López Gómez from 1st of CP Mestre Gaspar López and third prize for Erik Niño López from 2nd from Ntra. Sra. De los Dolores. In this category four accésits were also awarded to Noa Murillo of 2nd EP of C Ausiàs March, Laura Laforge of 1st EP of the French School Pablo Picasso, Tsvetelina Prodanova of 2nd EP of CP Gabriel Miró and Lucía Zapata of 1st EP of CP La Creek.

In the category of 3rd and 4th of Primary Education the first prize was Ivan García - Valenciano Bravo of 4th EP of CP Mestre Gaspar López, the second prize for Andrea Payá Bellod of 3rd of CP Ausiàs March, and the third prize for Sasha Lópes of 3rd of the French School Pablo Picasso. In this category several accésits have been delivered for Sacha Gómez of 4th EP of Ntra. Sra. De los Dolores, Guillermo Puerta Soto of 4th EP of C.I. Lope de Vega and Nazariy Yaremko of 4th EP of CP La Cala.

Finally, in the category of 5th and 6th grade of Primary Education the first prize went to Claudia García of 6th of CP Ausiàs March, the second prize to Kevin Crippa of 6th of CP Leonor Canalejas, and the third prize to Beatriz Mafra of 6th of EP of the CP Els Tolls. In this category four accésits for Ángela Lanuza Gaufillé of 5th of EP of the French school Pablo Picasso, Yeiza Álvarez Francés of 5th EP of El Murtal CP, Maria Llobell of 6th EP of C.I. Lope de Vega and Gabriela Martínez Da Silva of 5th year of the C.I. Lope de Vega.
