Benidorm and the Low will repeat a free welcome party a day before the opening of festival doors

31 May 2018
Benidorm y el Low repetirán fiesta de bienvenida gratuita un día antes de la apertura de puertas del festival

For the third consecutive year, Benidorm will begin to experience the Low Festival one day before the opening of doors with a free welcome party in Levante. Vive La Féte, Joe Crepúsculo and the DJs Friday and DJ Pollo 242 will be in charge of the musical part of this Wellcome Party that will be held on Thursday July 26 in Bilbao street, and with which "lowers" can anticipate at least one day the arrival in Benidorm, thus increasing the impact and economic impact of Low in the city, "as indicated by the Councilor for Events and Festivals, José Ramón González de Zárate.

De Zárate has stressed that by expanding the activities of the festival in one day "the expense that Low assistants make in local companies increases", not only in accommodation but also in leisure and catering establishments.

In addition, and after "the success of last year", this welcome party will also serve so that "the assistants to the Low can pick up in advance their bracelets for the festival", thus making the access to the venue much easier on Friday the 27th. July. De Zárate recalled that in the last edition "more than 4,000 people exchanged their three-day tickets in the Wellcome Party".

The councilor has invited "citizens of Benidorm" to come to this welcome party and enjoy the performances.

The Low Festival, held at Ciudad Deportiva Guillermo Amor, this year celebrates its tenth edition with a poster headed by Phoenix, The Chemical Brothers, Editors, Iván Ferreiro, Izal, Vitalic ODC, Kakkmadafakka, Biffy Clyro and Los Planetas.
