Ángela Alvado wins 'Isidro Cortina' award given by Rotary Club for the best student at Marina Baixa
The student Ángela Alvado received today from the Governor of District 2213 of Rotary Club, Jesús Martínez, 'Isidro Cortina' award, which, as every year, gives the entity to the student of Marina Baixa with the best qualification in the tests of University access. The event was attended by the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, who congratulated the winners and their parents, as well as underlined "the value of a recognition that rewards the effort of students."
The 'Isidro Cortina' Award has celebrated its ninth edition this year at the Madeira Centro Hotel in Benidorm. The award rewards the effort to study with an aid of 3,000 euros and is the only one of these characteristics that takes place in Spain.
The student Francisco Juan Navarrete form Benidorm has received the second prize from the president of Rotary Club Benidorm, Antonio Garay; while Sofía Alfimova received the third prize from Vichy Cortina, widow of Isidro Cortina.
