Alejandro Sanz signs an anthological night in Benidorm before 12,000 people
Two years of waiting have been worth it. Alejandro Sanz signed yesterday at the 'Guillermo Amor' stadium in Benidorm an anthological night before 12,000 people. Last night was one of the last stops of #LaGira2022 of which Benidorm has been one of the only 13 Spanish cities included in the national 'tour', which began on June 4 in Madrid and will close on July 30 on the island of La Palma.
For just over two hours, the artist performed some of his most recent hits and also part of the repertoire that has made him one of the greatest international references for music in Spanish, with 25 million records sold worldwide in the last three decades.
After an 'intro' by the artist's band, Alejandro Sanz kicked off his 'show' with 'No es lo misma', which was a prelude to hymns such as 'Amiga mía' or 'Corazón partío', songs with a Latin flavour such as 'Deja que te bese' and 'Labana', of Spanish guitar chords like 'Mares de miel', of intimate moments like '¿Lo ves?' or 'Mi marciana', or of viral songs on social networks like 'Mi persona favourite'. And so on, until adding more than 20 songs and a farewell to the rhythm of 'That last moment'.
For this concert, a special device was deployed by the Departments of Festivals and Events and Public Service of Benidorm City Council, the National Police Corps, the Local Police, the Red Cross, Civil Protection and the organization.
40 security guards and 142 assistants from the organization, plus members of the Local Police, the UIP and UPR units of the National Police and Civil Protection ensured security during the event, which took place normally; while the health staff was made up of two ICU ambulances, two Basic Life Support (SVB), one TNA, two doctors, three nurses and five emergency health technicians.
The summer calendar of Events and Festivals continues next week. It will be with the ‘Con Mucho Arte’ festival, on Saturday the 23rd, at the Julio Iglesias auditorium in Parque de l’Aigüera and with La Húngara as the headliner.
