Aigüera Park, transformed into Judea in the First century, ready to receive the Three Wise Men...

Everything is ready in Benidorm to receive The Three Wise Men, as every year at dawn on January 6. Although, on this occasion, and due to the health crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Department of Fiestas led by Jesús Carrobles, has adapted the traditional parade to a space prepared to the measures required by the authorities sanitary.

12,000 m2 in l’Aigüera Park, in Óscar Esplá auditorium, Judea in ​the First century when Jesus of Nazareth was born. Along a 500-meter circuit marked, with all health and hygiene safety measures. The route covers the central corridor and some sides. Citizens and visitors will be able to enjoy the recreation of the five thematic areas into which ‘The History of The Three Wise Men’ is divided: Herod, The Shepherds, The Christmas Star, The Royal Camp and The Birth.

The recreation will be complemented with representations of traditional scenes, light and sound shows, an area with animals can be visited and the royal pages will greet the children on January 3. The Kings, Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar, plan to arrive in Benidorm during the afternoon of the 5th, the day they will be received by the mayor of the city, Toni Pérez, and then they will go to l'Aigüera Park to greet all the children of Benidorm.

The venue will open its doors on January 3, 4 and 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and in the afternoons, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The entire route can be done in just over half an hour. Those who wish to visit the venue must purchase the ticket in advance at www.beninadal.com, it has a cost of 1.5 euros, with which the costs of ticket management and capacity control are covered.
