The Agency of Employment and Local Development and Avibe program training actions
For the third consecutive year, Benidorm City Council and the Business Association of Travel Agencies of Benidorm (Avibe) will plan and promote training actions with the aim of promoting the creation of employment in the sector and improving the qualifications and knowledge of the participants . On this occasion, these actions will focus on subjects such as work in a travel agency and the intercultural protocol applied to tourism companies. Although mainly aimed at Avibe's associates, these actions are also open to entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs outside the entity, and to all those interested in working in the sector.
The mayor, Toni Pérez, and the president of Avibe, Juanjo Pérez Parker, accompanied by the Councilor for Employment and Local Development, Mª Jesús Pinto, today signed the agreement in which the terms of this collaboration are established that will materialize in two courses or conferences throughout the year.
The City Council, through the Agency for Employment and Local Development (AEDL), will initiate the training program with a workshop on 'Work in a Travel Agency'. Subsequently, it will organize a 'Conference on intercultural protocol applied to tourism companies'. Both training actions will be developed in the municipal center El Torrejó.
Based on this agreement, Avibe will collaborate in the management of the inscriptions and will communicate to all its partners the content of the agreement and the proposed training actions.
