'Actívate y encuentra tu empleo' is funded by Obra Social La Caixa and includes three actions in groups and individual tutorials
AEDL organizes coaching workshops to improve the employability of people over 30
The Agency for Employment and Local Development (AEDL) has organized free workshops on coaching and career guidance to improve the employability of people over 30 who are unemployed. The activity 'Actívate y encientra tu trabajo' is financed by Obra Social La Caixa, it will be taught by the trainer Vigela Lloret, and proposes three group actions accompanied by individual tutorials.
The Councilor for Employment, Mª Jesús Pinto, explained that the objective of these workshops is "to awaken the initiative of people who are unemployed, helping them to clarify their goal and possibilities in the current socioeconomic context" so that each of them "generate their own employability strategy".
The first group action will focus on emotional competencies and self-awareness focused on the development of proactive attitudes. The second will revolve around the definition of the work goal and the development of the employment route of each participant. The third and final global action will address effective communication when facing a job interview.
In addition to these group actions, participants who want to improve some key issues can attend personalized tutoring.
