AEDL and AVIBE bet on collaboration about training and employment
The councilor for Employment, María Jesús Pinto, has hold this morning a meeting with Juan Josér Pérez Parker, president of the Business Association of Travel Agencies of Benidorm (AVIBE), with the aim of promoting training initiatives. The meeting also involved municipal especialists and from the association.
"We have prepared a first draft of training actions to carry out in 2017," said María Jesús Pinto, "focused on business content in the field of tourism and new technologies." This initiative joins, Pinto recalled, the collaboration that the Agency for Employment and Local Development (AEDL) is currently providing with the realization of a course for sale of tourism products and services, subsidized by the Valencian Employment Service and Training (Servef), whose students "will carry out their practices in Avibe partner companies". In addition, Employment and the association of travel agencies are scheduled to sign a convention that will offer "training actions open to all citizens of Benidorm".
At present, AVIBE counts among its associates 30 travel agencies that represent 88% of the national and foreign tour operators of the Costa Blanca.
