The administrative extension of Colonia Madrid will maintain the extended schedule in May to process the resident card

03 May 2019
La extensión administrativa de Colonia Madrid mantendrá el horario ampliado en mayo para tramitar la tarjeta de residente

Throughout the month of May, the administrative extension of Colonia Madrid, located on Avenida Beniardá 17, will remain open with extended hours to process the parking card for residents, as reported today by the councilor for Mobility, José Ramón González de Zárate. Thus, from Monday to Friday, this procedure can be carried out from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00, and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00. In addition, starting Monday, May 6, in the morning, you can also request the card on the 4th floor of City Hall.

To access this adhesive card you just have to be registered in Benidorm, be the owner of a small van or van and pay the vehicle tax in the city. This sticker should be placed on the windshield

De Zárate recalled that they have already begun to process the cards so that company vehicles can park in 'Residents' Zone' under the same conditions. In order to obtain this card, companies must prove documentally that they have their tax domicile in Benidorm and that they pay in the city the circulation tax (IVTM) of those vehicles.

On Monday the 'Resident Zone' starts operating in the lower part of the Center, specifically in the parking spaces of Sant Andreu, Los Tulipanes, L'Almadrava, Del Vent, Dels Pescadors, and the Puig Campana stretch between Maravall and Rosal.

In the middle of the month the 'Resident Zone' will start operating in La Cala. Specifically, the sections of Langreo Street between Secretary Antonio Baldoví and Luís Prendes are converted into places for residents; those of the so-called A6-D street; and the public parking located next to the homes for the elderly and the La Cala park. Already in the surroundings of Xixo, it is located on the avenue of Cuba at its confluence with Xixo, and the section of Uruguay that runs between Paraguay and Nicaragua
