It is one more free and strategic initiative of AEDL to facilitate access to the labor market
About twenty unemployed people participate in the first ‘Actívate para el empleo’ 2020 program
This morning the first edition of 'Actívate para el empleo 2020' has started, the program of the Employment and Local Promotion Agency aimed at unemployed people over thirty years of age, which prepares them for re-entry into the labor market and which it will run until Wednesday from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
The Councilor for Employment, Mónica Gómez, participated in the first working session that took place in the Assembly Hall of the City Council, welcomed the participants and encouraged them to participate in the workshops and personalized tutorials which will take place these days to face, with greater guarantees of success, the return to work.
During 2019, three calls for ‘Actvíate para el empleo ’ were held. This is the first edition of this year "due to the incidence of Covid-19," Gómez recalled, given that, "initially, the workshops were scheduled for the month of April." The main objective of the experience is for the participants to “develop their own job search strategy”.
‘Actívate para el empleo’ is a free activity financed 100% by Obra Social of ‘La Caixa’ foundation, thanks to the collaboration agreements of the entity with the City Council. The program is led by the economist and counselor Vigela Lloret.
Due to the "great acceptance" that the call has had among unemployed people, Mónica Gómez has announced that there will be a second edition in October of which the registration period in the AEDL has already opened.
