40 years of Benidorm Choral Group at Espai d’Art

From today you can visit the exhibition "40 years is nothing", a summary of the history of Benidorm Choral Group, carried out with the collaboration of the Department of Culture.
The person in charge of the department of ​​Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, has indicated that the Association began its journey in Capitol cinema on Vía Emilio Ortuño on April 24, 1981, with a concert directed by maestro Rafael Doménech Pardo. Four intense decades of activities and concerts have already passed by promoting culture in the city. Forty years - the councillor has specified - in which the association has performed throughout the Spanish geography and various cities in Europe ”.
The councilor has also claimed the "important work" performed by the choir in "festive activities, in countless acts." A diligence that has been recently recognized with the cultural distinction award ‘Ciutat de Benidorm’ that the president of the entity, Beatriz Farach, collected from the Mayor, Toni Pérez, during the celebration of the Institutional Plenary of last October 9.
Forty years of history, anecdotes and details of one of the institutions with the most national and international projection in Benidorm that will remain exposed to the public until Thursday, November 18.
