Youth broadens its training offer with four diving courses with self-contained underwater breathing apparatus

06 July 2017
Juventud amplia su oferta formativa con cuatro cursos de buceo con equipo autónomo

The Youth Department headed by Ana Pellicer, following the success achieved in previous calls, extends its summer leisure offer for young people with the programming of four diving courses, starting on July 15 and in two modalities: 'Initiation of diving' and 'Open Water Diver'.

Initiation Diving

This is a beginner course to dive with self-contained underwater breathing apparatus and safety regulations. The main feature of this activity will be an immersion of about 30 minutes to 6 meters of depth in the Island of Benidorm, with instructors. This activity will be held on July 15 and August 12 and has a registration price of 38 euros.

Open Water Diver

This course, of a higher level, empowers the one who realizes it to obtain the title 'Open Water Diver', valid for the practice of diving in any place of the world.

The course consists of a theoretical and a practical part in confined waters and four dives of 30 minutes in open water. The action will take place on the 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th of July or from the 21st to the 25th of August, in the afternoons. The price of the registration of this modality is of 240 euros.

Those who wish to enroll these courses have to be at least 10 years old. Information can be expanded at the Youth Information Center (CIJ) at the Town Hall building,
