Tenerife Island Council is interested in the application of new technologies in the City Hall

This morning there was a working session in which the Innovation Technical Service chief of the Tenerife Island Council, Orlando Pérez García and the councilor for New Technologies of Benidorm City Hall, Mrs. Lourdes Caselles, as well as other specialists in the field of Information Technology.

During the meeting, the current situation of the New Technologies in the administration and the importance they have acquired have been reviewed in order to provide a closer and more efficient service to citizens, which represents new challenges and opportunities for improvement, and entails an important effort to adaptation to the new technological framework.

The Innovation Technical Service chief of the Tenerife Island Council, in addition, has had the opportunity to know firsthand the applications and methods of implementation of the Electronic Administration in the City of Benidorm, the steps that are taking place in terms of interoperability with other administrations, as well as their experience in managing change.
