The mayor, Toni Pérez, and the member of the Brotherhood, Jesús Malumbres, have signed El Libro de las Reglas in a ceremony held at Plaza de Sant Jaume
The Salves Rocieras (songs to the Virgin) sound again in the streets of Benidorm on the 25th anniversary of Nuestra Señora del Rocío Brotherhood
The drum, the flute or bagpipe, and the 'salves' have sounded again in the streets of Benidorm to celebrate the traditional Triduo and the Farewell Simulation that has starred, for another year, the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Rocío de Benidorm.
After a mass celebrated in the parish of La Almudena, more than a hundred faithful, the majority walking and others in carts and horses, marched in a pilgrimage to the Church of Sant Jaume and Santa Anna to offer offerings to the Mare de Déu del Sofratge and say goodbye to her before starting the trip to the Huelva village of El Rocío.
In the pilgrimage, led by Sin pecado Brotherhood, the mayor, Toni Pérez; the Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles; and other members of the municipal corporation together with the president of the Brotherhood Juan Carlos Benavente and the leading member of Rocío 2022, Jesús Malumbres. The Queens of Festes Majors Patronals 20232, Angélica Morenilla and Daniela Talavera, and their ladies and the president of the Comissió, Vicente Solaz, and representatives of the Associació de Penyes 'Verge del Sofratge', participated in the pilgrimage.
At Plaza de Sant Jaume, Toni Pérez and Jesús Malumbres signed El Libro de las Reglas of the Brotherhood, wishing a happy journey to those who head towards Almonte. To finalize the act they went to the chapel where the Verge del Sofratge blessed Sin Pecado Brotherhood.
