L'Horta de Benidorm has once again celebrated, this time in complete normality, the festival of Sant Antoni Abad. And it has done so, just like yesterday, with hundreds of neighbors who have come to the traditional mass and the subsequent blessing of their pets.

At 11:30 a.m., the mass began inside the tent, a ceremony that was officiated by the parish priests José Luis Rodes and Venancio Ruiz. At the end of it, the list of the 33 organizing members that will make up the 2023-24 Commission has been read.

The mayor Toni Pérez was present at the ceremony, as well as the Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, members of the municipal corporation, the president of the Sant Antoni commission, José María Fuster, as well as that of the Festes Majors Patronals, Vicente Solaz , Queens Angélica Morenilla, and Daniela Talavera and their ladies-in-waiting. Representatives of other festive entities in the city have also attended.

During the religious act, the priest blessed the loaves that have subsequently been distributed among the attendees. Shortly after, outside the Hermitage, both parish priests proceeded to bless the animals, which put an end to the acts in honor of Sant Antoni this year.
