A group of residents from Miranda Foundation, from Barakaldo, spend a week in Benidorm
A group of residents in the Miranda de Barakaldo Foundation centres has travelled to Benidorm for a week-long stay within the life experiences program for seniors 'I am alive'. During their stay, the group is accompanied by supervisors and assistants, a psychologist and those in charge of the foundation, headed by Leire Hacha, director of the centre.
The mayor, Toni Pérez, received them and welcomed them to “the city of happiness.” During the meeting, the project participants shared with the mayor their experiences of these days in the city, including the aquatic activities they were doing during their stay.
The 'Estoy Vivo' Project is part of the Miranda Foundation's initiative to care for the elderly to reconnect, restore trust in them and confirm that age does not limit the enjoyment of experiences.
