Medio centenar de jóvenes visitan el MARQ y la exposición de Van Gogh en IFA con Juventud

Around fifty young people from Benidorm visited the Provincial Archaeological Museum of Alicante (MARQ) and the exhibition on the work by Vincent van Gogh at IFA on Friday, on an excursion organised by the Youth Department of Benidorm City Council within its ‘Summer Programme’.

This programme is aimed at children and young people between 10 and 16 years old and runs fortnights throughout July and August, as indicated by the Councillor for Youth, Ana Soliveres. The councillor recalled that, within this programme, recreational and sporting activities, workshops and cultural outings are carried out, and that this excursion “is one of the outings we carry out at the end of each fortnight which makes the programme even more attractive year after year”.

The Youth Council's 'Summer Programme' will run until 30 August at Leonor Canalejas school. Its aim, Soliveres points out, is to offer "an alternative summer leisure programme for children and young people, as well as a space to facilitate work-life in many families."
