Enrique Ballester honored by Doble Amor association at the annual summer charity dinner

Last night, the Doble Amor Association held its traditional end-of-year Summer Dinner, which, as every year, brought together members, families, and supporters.
More than 350 people attended the dinner organised by the organisation chaired by José Luis Calvo, who, along with the centre's director, Vanesa Amat, personally welcomed and greeted all the guests upon their arrival. Among those attending were the mayor, Toni Pérez, and the Councillor for Social Welfare, Ángela Zaragozí, along with a large representation of the local government team; Senator Agustín Almodóbar; and the regional representative, José Ramón González de Zárate.
After dinner at Doble Amor, and from the hands of the mayor, businessman and philanthropist Enrique Ballester, one of the organisation's founders, received a statuette from the association and was honoured by all those present in recognition of his solidarity with those most in need. It is worth noting that, coinciding with Europe Day on May 9, Ballester was awarded the European Distinction by the Benidorm City Council for his contribution to the city's development as an entrepreneur and his commitment to those most in need.
Ballester, born in Tangier, Algeria, in 1943, moved to Paris after the country's independence, where he completed his studies, and in 1965, settled in Benidorm. Here, he developed his career as a real estate developer. Among his creations are emblematic buildings such as the Rincón Español, the Ensenada complex, and the Ílice, Copa Cabana, Odeman, and Flecha buildings. He also managed to expand his reach into other business sectors such as nautical, automotive, and catering. On a personal level, he has actively participated in the Festes Majors Patronals (Major Patronal Festivals) and has promoted charitable initiatives through renowned institutions such as the Rotary Club and Doble Amor itself.
After the tribute to Enrique Ballester, the celebrations continued with the traditional raffle and dancing that lasted well past midnight.
