Culture program Mozart's 'Requiem' on Saturday in San Jaime's Church
Benidorm City Council, through the Department of Culture, has scheduled for tomorrow Saturday the performance of W. A. Mozart's 'Requiem', by La Vila de Sant Joan Symphony Orchestra, La Paz Musical Society and the Orfeón Cantabile. The appointment will take place at eight in the afternoon in the church of San Jaime and Santa Ana and will be directed by Juan Antonio Espinosa.
For Sunday, within the cycle of Sacred Music, a performance by the Choir and Chamber Group of the Musical Union has been scheduled, also in the church of San Jaime and Santa Ana starting at eight in the afternoon.
That day, in the morning, the activity 'To the beat for the animals' will be held. With a dance exhibition by 'Boogie Block' and a concert by the Benidorm Musical Union Youth Band, the benefits obtained will go to the Marina Baixa Plant and Animal Protection Society.
It will be at ten in the morning in Foietes park.
The Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, has encouraged the neighbours to witness the performances. "They are very attractive events and for all ages, so we encourage everyone to go to the church of San Jaime and Foietes park". Pérez has also had an impact concerning the show on Sunday in the park that "attendance at the same also contributes to a good cause in favour of the Animal Protection".
