The Central Library hosts the fourth session of the ‘Author Talks & Interviews’ series on Wednesday the 17th
Benidorm Central Library will host the fourth session of the ‘Encounters with the Author’ series next Wednesday, December 17th. The series is organised by the Benidorm Library Network. The Councillor for Historical and Cultural Heritage, Ana Pellicer, announced that this session will feature local writer Isabel Pérez Aranda.
A graduate in Fine Arts from the Miguel Hernández University, Pérez Aranda works in various art forms, including painting and sculpture. However, her artistic interests also include literature, and specifically poetry.
On December 17th, at 6:00 p.m., the author will be at the Central Library to meet with her readers and offer attendees a journey through her poetic work, which includes, among other titles, ‘Where the Trees with Flying Leaves Gaze at the Sky All Hours of the Day’ (2019). 'Benidorm Tells Its Story' (2019), with Gloria Almendáriz, César Evangelio Luz, Carlos Ferrer, Carlos García, Paqui Herrera, Manuel T. Llinares Morales, and Juan Francisco Moreno Amorós; 'Eight Voices' (2020); 'By the Sea' (2020); 'Less Wolves, Little Red Riding Hood' (2022), with Gloria Almendáriz; 'Sentinel' (2024); and 'Northern' (2025).
Ana Pellicer has invited reading enthusiasts, especially poetry lovers, to visit the Central Library and participate in this engaging event.
