The Pulso and Púa orchestras of the ACR La Barqueta and Ars Nova de Crevillent performed yesterday afternoon at the Church of San Jaime in the concert of the 12th Musical Exchange Campaign. The event began at 9:00 p.m. and was met with great acclaim and much applause from the many fans who gathered at the parish church, including several local government members.

The first part of the concert was performed by the Crevillent band, conducted by Iván Aznar López, with a program consisting of "La cumparsita" (G. H. Matos Rodríguez), "Diferencias sobre el canto del caballero" (Antonio de Cabezón), "Romanza" (Salvador Bacarisse), "Andante cantabile" (P. Tschaikowsky), and "Concerto in D major for lute" (A. Vivaldi).

The La Barqueta rondalla performed the second half of the concert, conducted by José Antonio Pastor Ruiz, featuring the works "The Phantom of the Opera" (A. Lloyd Webber), "The Sound of Music" (R. Rodgers and O. Hammerstein), "Howl's Moving Castle" (J. Hisaishi), "Windmills" (Pablo Luna), and "The Moon Falls in Love" (A. Ortiz de Villajos).

Both folk string bands performed the last part of the concert together, with the pieces 'Son & Silvia' (Eric Clapton) and 'Verbena y vainilla' (José Antonio Esteban Lapeña), putting the finishing touch to another event in this campaign organized by the Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community (FSMCV), the Federation of Choirs of the Valencian Community (FECOCOVA), the Folklore Federation of the Valencian Community (FFCV), the Valencian Federation of Dolçainers/res i Tabaleters/res (FVDiT), the Federation of Pulse and Púa Orchestras and Rondallas of the Valencian Community (FORPPCV) and sponsored by the Department of Culture.
