The Alliance of Tourist Municipalities of Sun and Beach (AMT) has met today in Benidorm coinciding with the celebration of the XIX International Forum of Tourism of the city. The meeting was held at the City Hall and among the items on the agenda were the sharing of the latest steps taken by the AMT or the priorities that the 'lobby' is set for 2019.
In this meeting they have participated, among others, the president of the AMT and mayor of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Marco Aurelio Pérez; the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez; the manager of Visit Benidorm, Leire Bilbao; the president of the CEHAT, Joan Molas; the mayors of the municipalities of Adeje -José Miguel Rodríguez-, Calvià -Alfonso Rodríguez-, Salou -Pere Granados-, and Torremolinos -José Ortiz-; as well as the councilor of Tourism of Arona -David M. Pérez- and the head of the Tourist Services Area of Lloret de Mar -Jordi Giralt-.
Previously the mayors and / or councilors of Tourism of the member localities of this 'lobby' have participated in the first table of work and discussion of the forum, where they have addressed the reality and problems they share and in which they have claimed, among other issues , greater and better financing for tourist municipalities.
