About 3,000 people participate in the Solidarity March of Anémona
At ten in the morning on Sunday, a new edition of the Solidarity March of Anémona Marina Baixa (Self-help Group of Women with Breast Cancer) began, with the presence of about 3,000 people who have gathered at SSMM Los Reyes de España square to start the march.
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, the Councilor for Equality, Ángela Zaragozí, and several members of the municipal corporation, as well as the queens of Festes Majors Patronals, Paula Pérez and Sofía Fuster and their court of honor, the president of the Commission, Batiste Rostoll, the festive collective and representatives of the associative movement have participated in the march.
The route started at Plaza de SSMM Los Reyes de España and ran along Avenida de l’Aigüera, Calle Italia and ended in Parque de la Sèquia Mare.
The whole march was lived in a festive atmosphere to which the applause of people who from terraces and balconies have been able to see the great tide of people have been added.
This year the 19th edition of the March has been completed, since last year it was held virtually as a result of the situation created by the pandemic.
