Sustainable Shootings
From the Benidorm Film Office, together with the Department of the Environment and the Sierra Helada Natural Park Management, we arranged, several years ago, some considerations to take into account when programming audiovisual works in the areas surrounding the park, in Particularly those that are municipally our responsibility, such as Taiwan (La Cruz), Tokyo, Corea, Dos Calas, Punta Llisera and Tio Chimo and Almadraba coves.
This work, where we have the presence of the Rural Guard, who prepares together with BFO and localizers the arrival of each one of the productions that choose this environment to record or photograph, has been implemented with new measures, and now is the time to give it a new impulse, extending the recommendations to the rest of the municipal term.
What is the aim of this initiative?: Follow the trajectory of the Benidorm City Council in its commitment to work towards a more sustainable city, aligning its actions with those of the Sustainable Development Goals, we want to minimize the impact of filming by providing new criteria of sustainability that lead us to these objectives that, as part of the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development, leads us to a horizon where to put an end to poverty, protect the planet and improve people's lives.
For this, we propose the adoption of several measures that facilitate sustainable practices in each of the production phases, but especially in the one that directly affects us, that of filming in our public locations. However, we will continue to maintain as enforceable all the recommendations we have for filming in the surroundings of the P.N. Sierra Helada and that can be downloaded in the document "Responsible Declaration Sierra Helada"
