Today the twenty-first edition of the Olympics for the elderly that have been developed in the Residence and the Day Center in Benidorm have been closed with the support of Benidorm City Council.
The Councilor for Equality, Angela Llorca, along with other colleagues in the corporation, have shared the morning with the users of the center who have competed in disciplines such as: chair races, bowling, basket, obstacle jumping, Wii or petanque, between others. During the awards ceremony and medals, Llorca congratulated the participants for the competition and the staff of the residence “for making our adults enjoy a competition where age is not important, but participation” .
