On Sunday, the play 'Campeones 2 En el teatro', directed by El Langui, arrives in Benidorm

Benidorm Cultural Centre auditorium will host the play "Campeones 2 En el teatro. Si Lorca levantara la cabeza..." directed by Juan Manuel Montilla ", El Langui" next Sunday, September 7th. The play follows the huge success of the first play, "Campeones de la comedia." The performance begins at 7:00 p.m. and tickets can still be purchased on the website www.campeoneslaobra.com.

Aimed at all audiences and lasting 100 minutes, the play features, in addition to Langui himself, actors such as Alberto Nieto, Emilio Gavira, Luis Mottola, Claudia Fesser, and Gloria Ramos. The script is by Pedro Lendínez, and the adaptation was made by Daniel Díez Colinas. It is produced by Funfun Comedy and Películas Pendelton and has the collaboration of the Department of Culture.

It features several actors from the film "Campeones," winner of several Goya Awards, and highlights the full social inclusion of people with physical and intellectual disabilities.

The plot tells the story of Claudia, an actress with a long career who feels she has yet to land the big role that could elevate her. One day, luck knocks on her door when one of the greatest directors is set to direct what will be his last film, and he has written the main character with her in mind. However, that character has a disability, and before making a decision, the director wants to see her.
