From this Wednesday until Sunday, access to Puente street from Plaza de la Hispanidad is closed to traffic, while the entrance to the old town will be through Bilbao
Mobility informs about the traffic conditions due to the assembly and development of Benidorm Fest Euroclub
The Department of Mobility has informed us of the traffic cuts and restrictions that will be operational in the coming days due to the assembly and development of the Benidorm Fest Euroclub, which is held this Friday and Saturday, May 12 and 13, at La Hispanidad Square on the occasion of Eurovision.
From this Wednesday, the 10th, at 9:00 a.m. until Sunday, the 14th, access to Puente Street from La Hispanidad Square will remain closed to traffic.
In the same way, the section of Doctor Pérez Llorca Street between La Hispanidad and Valencia Street will also be closed to traffic until Sunday. For this reason, vehicles that want to access the old town must do so from Bilbao Avenue and then drive along Valencia Street until they reach Doctor Pérez Llorca.
On both days of the event, Friday and Saturday, vehicles will be allowed to circulate from Mediterráneo to Esperanto Street until 5:00 p.m. However, from that time until the end of the event, this access will be cut off, so vehicles that want to get to the Downtown area must use alternative routes such as Primavera Street.
It is expected that all traffic will return to normal throughout Sunday the 14th, as the disassembly work of the entire infrastructure of Benidorm Fest Euroclub progresses.
While the traffic cuts last, a provisional stop will be set up in Doctor Orts Llorca Street.
