The Musical Union of Benidorm performs the march 'Pan y vino', by Ambrosio Baldó, inspired by the Last Supper
Good Thursday in Benidorm is lived in Foietes and Colonia Madrid
After the image of the Throne of the Lord's Supper was lowered to the chords of the national anthem, after 9:00 p.m., the Unión Musical Symphonic Band performed 'Pan y vino', by Ambrosio Baldó, a piece inspired by the Eucharist and dedicated to by the teacher to the Sacramental Brotherhood of the Lord's Supper.
The procession passed through the main streets of the neighborhood: Ginés Cartagena, Capitán Cortés, Avenida de la Castellana, Velázquez, Acacias, Goya, Jardines and ended again in the temple and, outside the steps, the legionaries who shone with their light. At all times, they guarded the image of the Eucharist.
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, together with the Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, led the institutional representation, together with other members of the municipal corporation and the national and provincial deputies, Agustín Almodóbar and José Ramón González de Zárate. At his side, the Elder Sister of the Brotherhood of the Holy Christ, Susana V. Martínez; the president of the Sacramental Brotherhood of the Holy Supper, Mª Teresa Cantó; and, among others, the parish priest of La Almudena, Pedro Crespo.

At the same time, in the neighborhood of La Cala, the Brotherhood of the Prayer of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, based in the parish of San Juan Bautista, went through the Plaza de las Tiendas, Pajares, the avenues Mont Benidorm and Vicente Llorca Alós, Vinaròs, and Santander.
Today Good Friday, starting at 8:30 p.m., from the church of Sant Jaume i Santa Anna the general procession of the Holy Burial will start, in which all the brotherhoods of Benidorm will take part, touring the most central streets of the town. Likewise, at 11:00 p.m., in La Cala, the Penitential Stations of the Cross will be held, starting at San Juan Bautista and ending at the Virgen del Mar hermitage, next to Tossal.
