The first representatives of the local festivals attended the event accompanied by the president of the Commission, Mª Dolores Cano, the president of the Penyes Association 'Verge del Sofratge', Jaume Cortés, and a large group of Mayorales.

In Elche Park, dozens of stalls are run by artisans with a long history in this type of event, which form wide streets that facilitate the flow of people. There is also a specific play area and other specific areas for shows decorated with the colourful atmosphere typical of this type of event.

In addition to quality products, the Medieval Market has organized music, dance, theatre and juggling shows, in addition to the classic tournaments in which knights will fight with their swords to obtain the favour of their ladies. On the sidelines, activities have been scheduled in which the public can participate, such as craft workshops or traditional games.

The Medieval Market will remain open throughout the weekend and close its doors at 10:30 p.m. tomorrow, Sunday when it will say goodbye until next year.
