The auditorium, which was completely full, will host Benidorm Unión Musical concert on Sunday
The concert by La Nova Musical Society at the Cultural Center resumes the activity of the Cultural Week of the Major Patron Saint Festivities
The auditorium of Benidorm Cultural Centre hosted another event last night as part of Major Patron Saint Festivities Cultural Week, specifically a concert by Societat Musical la Nova, which was full even before it began at 9:00 p.m. Among those attending were Mayor Toni Pérez; Councillor for Culture Jaime Jesús Pérez; the Queens of the Fiestas, Paula Pascual Sánchez and Aitana Pérez Gutiérrez; the President of the Fiestas Committee, Susana Martínez; and the Vice President of the Association of Supporters' Clubs.
Under the baton of their director, Francisco José Rovira, the musicians of La Nova performed a varied repertoire for the audience, beginning with the piece Euphoria, arranged by Jan van Kraeydonck; and continuing with the pasodoble Francisco Antón ‘Picorro’, by Rafael Doménech Pardo; and Frenesí, by Alberto Dominguez, arranged by Naohiro Iwai. Amparito Roca by Jaime Teixidor; music by Bad Bunny, arranged by Jesús Ufano; the Valencia march by José Padilla; Esa Diva adapted by Eric Rodriguez Manzano; Pasodobles Mix arranged by Jesús Ufano; and Alaska adapted by Azael Tormo.
During the concert, the musical society presented the adult and children's queens with a gift. The children's queen and her court of honour also performed a choreographed dance during the Alaska medley.
The following activities of Cultural Week will take place this weekend. Specifically, on Sunday, November 2nd, at 11:00 AM on the same stage, Benidorm Unión Musical will perform. Also on Sunday, at 1:00 PM, Rondalla de la ACR La Barqueta will give a concert in the Church of Sant Jaume i Santa Anna.
