With a concert by the organist Josep Vicent Giner and Benidorm Choral Group that began at 8:00 p.m. tonight in the church of Sant Jaume i Santa Anna, the eleventh edition of Benidorm International Organ Festival has arrived today to its end. In total, there have been nine recitals that the parish has hosted in the recently completed edition. A musical proposal that has turned the city into “a benchmark in this speciality,” as the Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, recalled days ago.

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, and the councillor of culture, along with other members of the government team, attended the concert that brought together a large audience, many of whom came from other towns in the province of Alicante who, as in previous calls, has been able to enjoy one of the best neo-baroque organs, a reference in the entire Valencian Community.

Josep Vicent Giner and the Benidorm Choral Group, under the direction of Ramón Lorente, have offered a recital that began with 'Noël Sebastian Bach; ‘Hymn of the Cheribines’ by Piots Ilich Tchaikowsky; Deuxième Suite de Noël · Vote gran Dieu’, by Claude Balbastre; 'Oratorio de Navidad' and 'Despertad, nos llama la voz', also by Bach; 'Cuatro motetes para tiempo de Navidad', by Francis Poulenc; ‘Salve Regina’, by  Arvo Pärt; ‘Gloria in Excelsis Deo (Gloria, RV 589)’ by Antonio Vivaldi; and 'In dulce jubilo', by Johann Sebastian Bach
