The City Council resumes visits to neighborhoods with neighborhood associations after confinement
Neighbors and members of Ricardo Bayona Association, have met today the councilors for Citizen Participation, Ana Pellicer; and Public Space, Street Cleaning and Works, José Ramón González de Zárate, to analyze the situation of the neighborhood and propose new improvements for the future. The vice-presidents of the Neighborhood Council, Teresa Garrido and Manuel Sánchez Notario have also participated in the working session.
The meeting, in the street, consisted of "a little walk" with the representatives of the association, Ana Pellicer has pointed out, to see "in situ" the new proposals that they have put forward to the City Council. The avenues of Venezuela, Peru and Ricardo Bayona have been visited, where the progress made as a result of the previous meeting has been verified, and which have led to the improvement of bus traffic, accesses and elements of the urban scene. The members of the association have shown their satisfaction with the work done.
This has been the first meeting, after the period of confinement due to Covid-19, which has taken place in Benidorm between neighbors and local administration. The City Council and the Neighborhood Council are already working on a new calendar to deepen collaboration. In this sense, Pellicer has announced that the next working session will be next Thursday, June 25, at 11:00 am in the Administrative Extension of Els Tolls.
