The good weather has been the predominant note in Benidorm on All Saints Day that is commemorated today, November 1. From first hour, the neighbors have gone to the two municipal cemeteries: Mare de Déu del Sofratge and Sant Jaume, to remember their beloved relatives, already deceased.
In Sant Jaume, at noon, there has been a mass of the dead that has been attended by the mayor, Toni Pérez, and the councilor of Cemeteries, Angela Llorca, as well as representatives of the popular and socialist groups. At 5:00 p.m., another religious ceremony took place at the Mare de Déu de Sofratge.
Civil Protection and Municipal Police have highlighted the total absence of incidents throughout the holiday.
