The Brotherhood of El Rocío celebrates its traditional Triduum and Simulation of farewell

La Hermandad del Rocío celebra su tradicional Triduo y Simulacro de despedida

The Brotherhood Nuestra Señora del Rocío of Benidorm celebrated this Sunday its traditional Triduum and the farewell simulation. This last act centered the agenda that started at 10.00 am in the parish of La Almudena headed by the mayor of Benidorm Toni Pérez, accompanied by the councillor of Fiestas Jesús Carrobles, the president of the Brotherhood Jesús Malumbres, the Elder Sister Cecilia de Krujik , the president of the Festival Committee, Francisco Marín, the president of the Penyes Association, Daniel Luque and several members of the municipal corporation. From there, a hundred pilgrims and horses with their riders have moved to the church of San Jaime and Santa Ana to offer the Virgin of the Sufragio, and say goodbye to her before taking a trip to the village of El Rocío.

Then at Plaza San Jaime the mayor, Toni Pérez, signed in the Book of Honor of the Brotherhood to wish a good travel to those who set course for Almonte (Huelva). The same has been done by the Major Sister of the entity, Cecilia de Krujik Hoogendijk.

After this signing, the pilgrims offered a bath of petals to the Virgen del Rocío before starting the way back to the camp, located in the pine forests next to the sports city Guillermo Amor
