Benidorm puts tickets on sale for the New Year's Concert
Benidorm City Council's Department of Culture has announced that tickets are now on sale for the New Year's Concert performed by Benidorm Unión Musical Symphony Orchestra on January 1st at the Cultural Centre auditorium, starting at 7:00 PM.
Tickets for the event can be purchased for €12 at www.vivaticket.es. The concert will be conducted by Rafa Gómez Parra and will feature the renowned soprano Pepi Lloret, a native of La Vila Joiosa.
Lloret was awarded first prize at the 37th Alicante Concert Society Performance Competition in 2022, second prize at the 8th Estepona Crea-2022 National Competition, and was a finalist in the Medinaceli International Singing Competition "A Future of Art," among other accolades.
Her great versatility has allowed her to perform repertoires ranging from Renaissance music to contemporary trends. Thanks to this, she has collaborated with early music groups such as Lucentum XVI, Ministriles del Emperador, Ministriles de San Miguel, and Música Trobada.
The soprano from Villajoyosa has performed at major national and international festivals and holds a higher degree in singing and a Master's degree in Research and Performance from the Óscar Esplá Higher Conservatory of Music in Alicante.
The Councillor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, has encouraged "all music lovers" to purchase tickets "as soon as possible" because it is an event "that generates a lot of interest and tickets tend to sell out quickly." The councillor highlighted the "high quality of the program that will be offered that day" and emphasised the presence of the soprano from Villajoyosa, whom he described as "one of the leading figures in bel canto in our country."
