Benidorm enhances contacts with tour operators at the WTM for the 2023 season

The Benidorm delegation present at the World Travel Market in London, with the mayor of the city at the head, Toni Pérez, has continued its work agenda during the second day of the London fair with the aim of advancing in contacts with the main British tour operators for the 2023 season.

Thus, meetings have been held with representatives of operators such as Tour 10, HDC Travel Ltd, Holiday Pirats, Expedia, Thomas Cook, Travel Extra and Jet2 Holidays, among others. Benidorm has also been the protagonist in a round table on 'Sustainable Spain' with directors of the tour operators Jet2, Easyjet Holidays, and TUI. Data from Benidorm was been offered at this table to highlight the commitment made by the city in favor of sustainability and as an example of success.

Added to these appointments are those held with operators and agencies such as Love Holidays, Skyscanner, Minube, Advantage Travel, Gossip Travel, Travel Republic, and Avoris yesterday and with the media agency Nivoria, Iceolly and Big 7 Travel today from today. Tomorrow, Wednesday, the meeting agenda includes a meeting with the TUI wholesaler and the Affinity Angels agency.

At the tourist event in the English capital, it has also been announced that Benidorm will host next year the annual meeting of Advantage, which is one of the main associations of British tour operators, together with ABTA and AITO. In the case of Advantage, it brings together independent retailers who are expected to better understand the destination in order to offer it in their catalogs.

The congress will take place next spring and it is expected that around 500 British tourism professionals will attend. Turespaña, Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, the Costa Blanca Tourist Board, Benidorm City Council, and the Hosbec hotel association collaborate in the organization of this event.
