The mayor signs the economic collaboration agreements with the Fiestas Committee and the Clubs Association of 2025 to contribute to having “the best festival program”
Benidorm contributes 185,000 euros for the organization of the Major Patron Saint Festivities
Benidorm City Council will contribute €185,000 to the organisation of the upcoming Festes Majors Patronals, which will be held from November 8 to 12. The city's mayor, Toni Pérez, signed the traditional financial collaboration agreements today, Friday, with the Commission for Major Patronals Festivities and the Association of Verge del Sofratge Penyes ahead of the important days. The president of the 2025 Festivities Commission, Susana Martínez, and the president of the Association of Penyes, Jonathan López, participated in this meeting and the signing of the agreements, as well as the Councillor for Fiestas, Mariló Cebreros, and other representatives of both festival organisations.
Thus, following the signing of the collaboration agreements, the City Council will contribute €185,000 for the organisation of the festivities, of which the mayorals will receive €150,000. At the same time, another €35,000 will go to the community of supporters. With both contributions, the City Council will help finance the events and activities planned by these two organisations during the Festes Majors Patronals, with the aim of "being able to have the best festivities and the best festive program possible," the mayor emphasised.
