Benidorm celebrates the Easter Fair in Elche Park with local products
Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals celebrates this weekend the traditional Fira de Pasqua. A fair of typical products has been inaugurated, as is traditional, in Elche Park and that has officially opened at 10:00 a.m. this Saturday, March 23, with the presence of the Queens of the Festes Majors Patronals, Valentina Almodóbar and Laia Zamora and their Courts of Honor.
Mayor Toni Pérez and numerous members of the municipal corporation were also present at the inauguration, as well as the president of the Committee of Major Patronal Feasts, María Dolores Cano, and representatives of the Association of Penyes Verge del Sofratge, as well as numerous neighbours and residents who did not want to miss the opportunity to buy and taste the items for sale.
During today's Saturday and tomorrow's Sunday, neighbours and residents will find stalls selling sausages, artisan bread, pastries, cheeses, chocolates, salted meats, oils, wicker and other traditional local products, as well as jewellery, kitchenware and books. In addition, the Festes Majors Patronals Commission has installed a bar with popular prices and will continue with the sale of palms.
