Youth announces the XXXIV New Creators Contest in painting and sculpture

The Department of Youth of Benidorm City Council has already convened a new edition, the 34th, of the New Creators Contest in the modalities of painting and sculpture, whose bases have already been published. The contest, like every year, is open to the participation of young people between 14 and 35 years old, both inclusive.

The bases establish that the works must be original and unpublished with technique, theme and free dimensions. In the case of the paintings, they will be presented ready to be hung in the exhibition, which will be held at the City Hall's Espai d'Art from January 23 to February 24, 2023.

Each contestant may compete with a maximum of two works and they must be presented at the Department of Youth, accompanied by the data of the authors (name, surnames, ID, age, address, telephone and title of the work).

There will be a single prize of 1,000 euros for each modality and the winning works will become the property of the City Council. There will also be a special prize for the best work performed by a person under 18 years of age.
