Next Sunday, March 11, the VI Regatta of the SUMA League will be held in the bay of Benidorm (IV Mare de Déu del Sofratge Trophy).
The event is organized by Club Náutico de Benidorm and the Rowing Federation of the Valencian Community with the collaboration of Benidorm City Council, starting at 9 a.m.
More than 60 teams with a total of 650 athletes from the Valencian Community, from the categories of cadet, youth, absolute and veterans (male and female) will meet to compete in the waters of Benidorm and get the coveted podium in the modality of Llaut Mediterráneo.
Benidorm Nautical Club rows as a local this time participating with four teams, Veteran Feminine and Masculine and Absolute Masculine and Feminine.
The distances to dispute will be 700 meters for the categories cadets and veterans with a tack and 1,400 meters in junior and absolute category with 3 tacks.
The day is expected sunny and with winds from the southwest, with about 10 knots of intensity that will make it a difficult test for the state of the sea but full of emotion.
